Some important information about the YHGSA

The main source of funding for the YHGSA was an annual grant from the Department for International Development (DFID). This ended in August 2010 about two years ahead of schedule. As a result the YHGSA brought several of its activities to a premature close. The Board decided that the YHGSA should continue to exist for the time being as a registered not-for-profit company. The Association has limited resources which will enable the Global Schools Award sections of this website to be maintained and updated. Other parts of the website have not been updated but indicate the range and scope of YHGSA activities and achievements when the programme came to an end.
